RADIO JINGLE

Record a Radio jingle comprising of the following elements:

  1. Catchy Melody: The jingle should have a memorable and catchy melody that sticks in the listener’s mind.
  2. Relevance: Ensure the jingle reflects the essence and spirit of the college or university.
  3. Positive Vibe: The jingle should convey a positive and upbeat vibe to energize the listeners.
  4. Short and Sweet: Jingles are typically short, often no more than 40 seconds max. Keep it concise.
  5. Lyrics: Include simple and meaningful lyrics that mention the college’s name, the radio station, and perhaps a tagline or theme.

Rules

  1. Theme: College or campus life
  2. Students can record and submit their jingle in MP3 format on the link provided in the google form available on JIMMC website.
  3. Duration: 40 seconds max.
  4. Language of Jingle: Hindi, English or bilingual (Hinglish).
  5. Judgement criteria:
    1. Adherence to theme- 25 Marks
    1. Creativity and Originality- 25 Marks
    1. Coherence of form and structure (harmony of words, presentation)-25 Marks.
    1. Insights – a fresh way of looking at things, critical view of the subject- 25 Marks.
  6. No plagiarism
  7. Only one entry consisting of 2 participant per institute is allowed.
  8. Don’t submit that jingle anywhere else.
  9. Don’t submit published work.
